“INandOUT” aims to respond to the particular moment we are living in, where the level of intolerance in european societies towards those who appear "different" is increasing, as well as it concerns the increase in social inequalities that endanger the social cohesion itself. For this it’s important that Europe comes back to making its voice heard, in order to give concreteness to its core values such as tolerance, equality, solidarity, freedom, respect of diversity, and human rights. It can do it credibly through its young people, the most sensitive and authentic part among its citizens towards values and ideals. 

The YE is so that experience at european level in order to make young european participants actors and promoters of social initiatives in their life communities for a more inclusive and supportive Europe. Additionally, the YE wants to be that experience that helps participants to understand better what means to live with a disadvantage or disability, as well as to break down the barriers of prejudice regarding people that appear “different”, in order to promote at the end the meeting the authentic knowledge among people. Having said that, the project is focused on: 

1) Creating an atmosphere of friendship and serenity to promote the mutual understanding among participants that come from different cultural context, but especially from different social backgrounds, in order to stimulate the spirit of tolerance and solidarity, and the respect of human rights towards the others: to figure out that the diversity (related to disability, culture, language, religion, gender, origins), of which everyone can be a carrier, is a richness and an added value. 

2) Experiencing the solidarity, and closeness to disadvantaged people or those who have a disability, to acquire a more open and welcoming forma mentis, able to overcome prejudices, and appreciate the living in an intercultural community based on the respect of each other. 

3) Developing skills and comptences useful to promote far more supportive and inclusive environments. To strengthen the competences for being whithin the communities, where participants live, active and attentive to the common well being. 4) To boost the european citizenship that comes from a positive experience on the values of freedom, tolerance , the respect of diversity and human rights, that shows itself also through the capacity to be promoter of initiatives oriented to inclusion and solidarity.
